FAQ
Sun protection is essential for keeping your skin healthy. Daily SPF helps protect against harmful UV rays, supports the prevention of premature skin aging, and reduces the risk of sun-related skin damage. Find the answers to the most frequently asked questions below.
Where can I buy Caribbean Bronze?
Caribbean Bronze is exclusively available at Action.
Applying sunscreen; how much is enough?
To achieve the SPF protection stated on the packaging, it's important to apply enough sunscreen. An adult needs approximately 6–7 teaspoons (around 33 ml) to cover the entire body from head to toe.
A 200 ml bottle provides approximately six full-body applications. Applying too little sunscreen can significantly reduce the level of protection, so be sure to apply a generous, even layer and reapply regularly, especially after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
Do you still get a tan when you're sitting in the shade?
Yes! While direct sunlight is the main contributor for tanning, exposure to indirect sunlight in the shade can still lead to some level of tanning.
Will using a higher SPF reduce my tan?
Wondering if a higher SPF will affect your tan? Not necessarily. A higher SPF helps protect your skin while still allowing you to develop a natural, sun-kissed glow. Your tan might take a bit longer to develop compared to using a lower SPF or no sunscreen, but you can still enjoy a beautiful, healthy-looking tan while caring for your skin.
What does SPF mean?
SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, which measures the level of protection against sunburn. It indicates how long someone can stay in the sun without burning compared to without protection.
What does UVA mean?
UVA stands for ultraviolet A rays. They are present all year round, even on cloudy days, and penetrate deeper into the skin. UVA rays are mainly linked to long-term skin aging, such as the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
What does UVB mean?
UVB stands for ultraviolet B rays. While these rays are most intense during midday, they're present throughout the day and can cause sunburn and contribute to long-term skin damage. Protecting your skin from UVB rays is essential for maintaining its health and preventing sun damage.
Are your products tested on animals?
